Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut was granted bail by Mumbai court, hours after being convicted in a defamation case filed by BJP leader Kirit Somaiya's wife Medha Somaiya. Raut was sentenced to 15 days of imprisonment and a fine of ₹25,000 was imposed against him. Raut had linked Kirit Somaiya and his wife to a ₹100 crore scam.
