A 14-year-old student of a government school in Tamil Nadu died a month after an alleged suicide attempt, police said. The Class 9 student was admitted to a government hospital with severe burn injuries on October 10. The family had initially refused to file a case, stating that it was an accident, but has now accused her teachers of harassment.
