The Election Commission on Monday announced that by-elections will take place in eight assembly constituencies in seven states/UTs on November 11. The constituencies include J&K's Budgam and Nagrota, Rajasthan's Anta, Jharkhand's Ghatsila (ST), Telangana's Jubilee Hills, Punjab's Tarn Taran, Mizoram's Dampa (ST) and Odisha's Nuapada. The counting of votes will take place on November 14.
