Genuine green crackers, which were approved for sale for Diwali in Delhi-NCR, can be identified through two mandatory features introduced by CSIR-NEERI. These are- official Green Fireworks logo printed on packaging and a unique QR code that can be scanned using 'CSIR-NEERI Green QR Code' mobile app. Scanning code provides details about manufacturer and NEERI certification status of product.
