After Day 1 of the second India-South Africa Test in Guwahati, ex-South Africa pacer Vernon Philander said bad light gives an "unfair advantage" to the bowling side. He said batters "feel hard done" by the uncertainty it creates. "There are light meters around...but you certainly want the game to be played in as much natural light as possible," Philander added.
