An internal feud led RJD chief Lalu Yadav’s sons, Tej Pratap and Tejashwi, to contest from different parties in Bihar elections. While Tejashwi is contesting from RJD, Tej is contesting from his newly-formed party, Janshakti Janata Dal. The family feud occurred after Lalu expelled Tej from RJD and family over the latter's pictures with Anushka Yadav, his reported longtime partner.
