I.N.D.I.A bloc has named former Supreme Court judge, Justice B Sudershan Reddy, as its candidate for the Vice Presidential post. Earlier, the BJP named Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan as the NDA's Vice President pick. The VP's election, which was necessitated by Jagdeep Dhankhar's sudden resignation from the post, will take place on September 9.
