Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday announced the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate singer Zubeen Garg's death. "The SIT will have full freedom to investigate the case with complete professional integrity," he wrote on X (formerly Twitter), adding, "We will not spare anyone." Zubeen lost his life while swimming in Singapore on September 19.
