Ex-Iraq President Saddam Hussein was convicted for crimes against humanity and executed by hanging in 2006. Ex-Pakistan PM Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was hanged in 1979 while Japan's Hideki Tojo was executed in 1948 for war crimes following the Tokyo Trials.
