India opener Pratika Rawal, who scored 122(134) in their Women's ODI World Cup 2025 match against New Zealand, has been ruled out of the tournament after sustaining an injury to her knee and ankle. Rawal twisted her leg while fielding during their rain-hit match against Bangladesh on Sunday. "[Our] Medical Team is closely monitoring her progress," the BCCI had said.
