Nifty50 surged over 5% this year so far, which is less than platinum, gold and silver's gains. Among the metals, gold has risen the least at around 52% YTD, while platinum and silver have surged around 80% and 66% YTD, respectively, NDTV reported. On MCX, gold and silver December futures are trading above ₹1.2 lakh/10 gram and ₹1.46 lakh/1kg, respectively.
