The Ministry of External Affairs is miffed with ambassadors of France, UK and Germany, after they wrote a joint opinion piece in Times of India criticising Vladimir Putin ahead of the Russian President's visit to India. "We see this...as very unusual...It's not an acceptable diplomatic practice to advise India's foreign relations with a third country," an MEA official reportedly said.
