Renault Group on Monday announced plans to acquire Nissan's 51% stake in Renault Nissan Automotive India Private Ltd. With this, the French automaker will become the sole owner of the manufacturing plant located in Chennai. The plant started in 2010, with Renault and Japan-based Nissan holding a 30% and 70% stake, respectively.
