A new international study conducted on over 80,000 adults found that knowing multiple languages is linked to slow brain ageing. The research, published in Nature Aging, looked at people from 27 European countries, in the age group of 51 to 90 years. The risks of accelerated ageing fell by about half in multilingual individuals.
