Kartar Singh Tanwar has been disqualified as Delhi MLA by Speaker Ram Niwas Goel under the anti-defection law. This comes after Tanwar left the ruling AAP to join BJP, which is in Opposition in Delhi. Tanwar has joined BJP along with former Delhi minister Raaj Kumar Anand, who had already been disqualified. Chhatarpur seat has become vacant after Tanwar's termination.
