US President Donald Trump stated that Fox Corporation CEO Lachlan Murdoch, Oracle Co-founder Larry Ellison, and Dell Technologies CEO Michael Dell would be involved as US investors in the proposed TikTok deal. Trump called them prominent people and "American patriots". TikTok parent, ByteDance, would hold under 20% of the stock of a joint venture controlling the video-making app's US operations.
