UP CM Yogi Adityanath slammed the critics of the Maha Kumbh Mela in a speech in the state Assembly, saying, "Someone has truly said that in the Maha Kumbh, whatever one sought, they found." He added, "Vultures found only dead body, pigs found filth, sensitive souls found the beautiful essence of relationships, the faithful found virtue...and devotees found God."
