A report by SBI said the 'Trump Tantrum', which refers to the impact of Donald Trump's presidency on the rupee, is likely to be temporary. The rupee has depreciated by about 3% against the dollar since November 2024 but will stabilise in the coming months, it stated. "Rupee appears more vulnerable under a non-Trump or Democratic regime," it added.
