BJP MP Khagen Murmu, who is in the ICU, may require surgical intervention to treat his facial injuries, including fractured bone below the eye, a hospital official said. Murmu, along with Siliguri MLA Sankar Ghosh, was attacked by a mob in north Bengal's Jalpaiguri. The leaders visited the district's Nagrakata area to reach out to victims of floods and landslides.
