The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), a civil rights organisation, has sued the Donald Trump administration over an executive order that suspends asylum access at the US southern border. The order bars migrants from claiming asylum and authorises immigration officers to quickly "repel" or "remove" them. "This is an unprecedented power grab," an ACLU official said.
