Kannada producer Pushkara Mallikarjunaiah has accused Nani and Mrunal Thakur's 'Hi Nanna', which released in 2023, of plagiarism. "Without taking remake rights, 'Hi Nanna' has been made by copying our original movie 'Bheemasena Nalamaharaja'. What a cheap thing to do," Mallikarjunaiah wrote. Nani and the film's makers have not responded to the allegations so far.
