Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the guest of honour at Mauritius' 57th National Day celebrations, Mauritius PM Navin Ramgoolam said. PM Modi will visit Port Louis on March 11-12. Mauritius celebrates its National Day annually on March 12, marking independence from British rule in 1968, and the day also marks Mauritius' transition to a republic within Commonwealth in 1992.
