The Centre approved revision of reimbursement rates under Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), which gives health cover to lakhs of employees, pensioners and their dependents. The updated pricing covers 2,000 procedures and will take effect on October 13. NABL or NABH-accredited hospitals will serve as benchmark for base rates, with non-accredited hospitals receiving 15% lower reimbursements.
