WhatsApp has launched a new feature powered by Meta's advanced generative AI technology that allows users to create and share custom AI-generated images as status updates. To use the feature, users need to go to the Updates tab and tap on "AI Images" while creating a new status. However, it’s currently being rolled out to select iOS and Android users.
