During the hearing on Electoral Roll Special Intensive Revision (SIR), Supreme Court (SC) said it can direct Election Commission to extend deadline for publishing draft rolls if valid objections are shown. It noted that despite earlier fears of mass deletions in Bihar, no one claimed wrongful removal. SC also questioned whether non-citizens with Aadhaar cards should be allowed to vote.
