Bengaluru-based Arjun Jain recently recalled that he went broke in Italy and was unable to get jobs or study further, six months after quitting his ₹1-lakh/month Yahoo job in 2007. He said his curiosity later got him a PhD and chance to work with Google DeepMind's Chris Bregler and teach at IIT. He now has his own AI startup.
