According to AAIB's preliminary report on the Ahmedabad plane crash, after the fuel cutoff switch for engine 1 transitioned from CUTOFF to RUN, backup APU inlet door began opening, consistent with expectations. Four seconds after engine 1, engine 2's fuel cutoff switch also transitioned similarly. Following this, engine 1's core deceleration stopped, reversed and began progressing to recovery.
