The Haryana power regulator has announced a hike in the electricity rates for domestic and industrial consumers effective from April 1. The tariff for domestic consumers has been hiked by 20 paise per unit. Consumers using 0-50 units would pay ₹2.20 per unit, up from ₹2, while those consuming 51-100 units would pay ₹2.70 per unit, up from ₹2.50.
