Apple's macOS Tahoe 26.2 is introducing 'Edge Light' feature for video calls on FaceTime and other video calling platforms to enhance video quality in low-light environments. Edge Light mimics a ring light and can be customised to match the brightness of ambient lighting. Using Apple's Neural Engine, it can detect user's face, size and position to optimise illumination.
