A Pakistan court sentenced a man to death for insulting Prophet Muhammad, as per a court official on Saturday. The court also imposed a fine of PKR 1,00,000 on the man, a resident of Sarai Alamgir in Punjab province, who was arrested for blasphemy. Insulting the Prophet is blasphemous in Pakistan and is punishable by death.
