The Railways Ministry has announced that only Aadhaar-authenticated users will be allowed to book Tatkal tickets from IRCTC website or app from July 1. For non-Aadhaar users, such tickets can be booked through Passenger Reservation System counters/authorised agents counters via OTP verification. Moreover, authorised or agents can't book tickets during first 30 mins.
