A Public Provident Fund (PPF) account matures after 15 years, allowing full withdrawal of amount. However, partial withdrawals are permitted after completing six financial years. You can withdraw up to 50% of your balance once a year. Premature closure is allowed only after five years and for certain exceptional circumstances, including serious illness, with 1% interest deduction.
