Thane's Ghodbunder Road faced congestion on Sunday after a container truck accident near Gaimukh in Maharashtra, which left thousands of commuters stranded. The gridlock worsened as one lane of the Thane-bound carriageway is closed for repairs from October 11 to 14, as notified by Mira-Bhayandar Police. Commuters played garba and music on the road, a video of which went viral.
