Ousted Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina, who was sentenced to death by a special tribunal, is in India. Notably, Bangladesh and India signed an extradition treaty in 2013 and amended it in 2016, after which merely an arrest warrant was enough to process extradition. The treaty refuses extradition when accusations are not made in "good faith in the interests of justice".
