NASA confirmed that asteroid 2024 YR4, which could unleash enough force to obliterate a city, is no longer on track to hit Earth but may strike Moon in 2032. Detected in December 2024, its Earth impact risk dropped from 3% to near zero. The James Webb Telescope will study it again in May 2025 before it moves into deep space.
