At least 25 girls were kidnapped from a government girls' boarding school in northwestern Nigeria on Monday after a group of unknown armed men attacked the campus. Vice Principal of the school was shot dead and another staff member sustained gunshot injuries while resisting the attackers. A search and rescue operation has been launched to catch the kidnappers.
