Former India skipper Kris Srikkanth urged CSK to target Glenn Maxwell in IPL 2026 auction. Noting that Pat Cummins used Maxwell well in the 2023 World Cup which Australia had won, he added, "He's a player who needs to be guided...Like Cummins, MS Dhoni can manage him very well." Srikkanth highlighted that Maxwell could be a replacement for Ravindra Jadeja.
