A woman in China almost ate a gold ring that her boyfriend hid in a cake to propose to her, causing it to split into two pieces, South China Morning Post reported. The woman claimed she had come back home hungry and "immediately" thought of eating the cake. "This proposal method is a bit risky," she told local media.
