Former Australia spinner Brad Hogg opined that Mumbai Indians (MI) took the right decision by replacing Rohit Sharma as their captain with Hardik Pandya ahead of IPL 2024. "Pandya coming in [as] captain [was] a good thing because Rohit [was] under pressure captaining India in all the formats," he added. Hogg further stated Rohit "needed a little bit of space".
