A Chinese airline has sparked controversy after announcing plans to hire "air aunties". In its job openings, Shanghai-based Spring Airlines said it's looking for "air aunties", a term it used to describe married women and mothers aged 25-40. Amid the backlash, an airline spokesperson defended the term's use, saying it was meant to "distinguish them from unmarried applicants".
