The crime branch seized over 5-kg ambergris (whale vomit) with an estimated value of ₹6.2 crore from a car in Maharashtra's Thane district. The police have arrested three men identified as Anil Bhosale, Ankush Shankar Mali, and Laxman Shankar Patil. The sale of whale vomit, a sought-after ingredient for perfumes, is banned under Wild Life (Protection) Act of 1972.
