All-rounder Deepti Sharma has become the joint second-most expensive player in WPL history. She was initially bought by Delhi Capitals (DC) at WPL 2026 mega auction for her base price of ₹50 lakh, however, her previous franchise UP Warriorz (UPW) used right-to-match (RTM) option. DC then raised the price to ₹3.2 crore and UPW secured her by using RTM again.
