BJP's Kalkaji candidate for upcoming Delhi Assembly polls, Ramesh Bidhuri, has been criticised by Congress for saying that if elected, he'd make the constituency's roads "as smooth as" Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's cheeks. Congress called his remark "shameful" and sought his apology. Bidhuri defended his statement, saying Lalu Prasad Yadav had made similar remarks on BJP's Hema Malini.
