A woman named Poonam was arrested in Haryana for allegedly killing three nieces for looking prettier than her. First incident occurred in 2023, when she allegedly drowned her niece. In August 2025, she repeated same method. The case came to light after death of another niece, whose body was locked in tub. CCTV footage confirmed Poonam's movements around the scene.
