A crackdown on traffic violators by Pune RTO has resulted in action against 66,653 motorists in the financial year 2024-25, including penalties and vehicle seizures. The violations include offences like signal jumping, over-speeding, and not wearing seat belts. "The strict enforcement aims to deter motorists from breaking traffic rules, endangering lives," Deputy regional transport officer said.
