US-based short-seller Hindenburg Research, now shutting down, published reports targeting big companies and billionaires, including the Gautam Adani-led Adani Group. It also targeted US-based IT firm Supermicro, conglomerate Icahn Enterprises, tech firm Block, Clover Health and heavy-duty commercial EV maker Nikola. It also announced a $1-million bounty for details on Tether crypto's backing.
