The Enforcement Directorate (ED) alleged that Chaitanya Baghel, son of ex-Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel, headed the state's liquor syndicate and personally managed nearly ₹1,000 crore in proceeds generated from it. The agency said this in the fourth supplementary chargesheet filed before the court. The alleged ₹2,500-crore scam occurred when Congress led by Bhupesh was in power.
