OpenAI has announced a partnership with Broadcom to develop its first in-house 10 giga-watt (GW) AI processors from second half of 2026. OpenAI's CEO Sam Altman said, "Partnering with Broadcom is a critical step in building the infrastructure needed to unlock AI's potential." This move comes a week after OpenAI signed 6GW AI chip supply deal with AMD.
