The Supreme Court has expressed concern over the rising incidents of dog attacks, asking, "What about cruelty towards humans?" It said, "Continuous incidents are happening. Your country is being shown as down in the eyes of foreign nations." It criticised states for failing to submit affidavits on implementing Animal Birth Control and directed their chief secretaries to appear before it.
