Silver hit a new record high on the futures market on Wednesday, even as the Indian rupee fell below the 90-mark against the US dollar. As per MCX website, silver futures with March expiry peaked at ₹1,84,727 per 1 kg. Meanwhile, gold futures with the February expiry also rose to a high of ₹1,30,955 per 10 gm.
